GRACE INN TO HOST ‘FIRST LAUGHTER OF 2009′
“The First Laughter of 2009″ is the title of the Ahwatukee Comedy Club’s first monthly show next weekend.
The club will present magician Mike Fisher, billed as a comedian with “a joker or two up his sleeve,” at 7.30 p.m. Jan. 17 at the Grace Inn Hotel on 10831 South 51st Street and Elliot Road, Ahwatukee.
Mike Fisher is a corporate magician, entertainer and motivational speaker. “For 16 years, companies have relied on Michaels services in varied capacities,” a Web profile says. “His professionalism, corporate-friendly humor and incredible capacity to captivate audiences are highly valued tools.” Also slated are Manny Llanez and Tim “The Aussie” Bateman. Bob Howard just scored another comedy gig and it’s in downtown Scottsdale Arizona (ComedySpot Sunday September 14) which is very convenient to many of you. I am guessing that this will be a sell out show even though it’s on a Sunday because the headliners are excellent and many of you may have seen them at our house from Comics on the Grass. Ken and Brady have one of the more unique comedy acts in town and I know that you will enjoy them whether this is the first time or you have seen them before.
